As a 20 year old in college my parents want to kick me out due to one bad grade is this a good reason?
Thea asked:
I am attending college, working as a college assistant, and paying my bills. When I recieved a poor grade for orgainic chem they wanted to make me join the army because they claim I was not interested in learning. This behavior has continued after I was kicked out of school due to recieving poor grades because I did not have a good science background when I chose my career path. I had to move back home after the incident. Neither of my parents were ever science majors. They will not let me work another job so that i can move out if I can afford to move out when I need to. The other job is only 3 days per week and allows me to study. If I choose to accept it I will have to move out and temporarily live with my boyfriend and his mother which I would prefer not to do.

You sound like you have your act in gear….everyone is entitled to one mistake…..however, you parents are worried that this might be the beginning of a downturn in the interest of continuing education. PROVE THEM WRONG David M

You were kicked out of school for poor grades but it wasn’t your fault? You didn’t have a good science background. Poor thing. Take responsibility for your actions. alikilee

Your screwing up girl! It was more than one bad grade. No one get’s kicked out for one bad grade. Now you are effectively out of school and doing what? Your parents want you to focus! Focus on your future. Yeah it’s hard!, it does not matter if they are science majors or not…they gave you opportunity and you are not focused. “I don’t have a good science background” is an excuse. Get it together!!! TnA

It sounds like your parents are trying to be strict as they may feel they are still dealing with a moody teen. You say that they want to kick you out for one grade )and I’m sure the first answer that you received is what you will choose as the best answer because its what you want to hear), but then as we read the additional details of your question you say you were kicked out of school because you had more bad grades because you did not have a good science back ground. To this I say; anyone who wants to learn can. You are being lazy and your parents are right to want to kick you out, they shouldn’t have to support you for the rest of your life. If you wanted to pass you could have, you may not have gotten an A but you could have passed. And i would really like to know are you even in school, you say I’m attending college, then you got kicked out for bad grades, and from what i am understanding you were working at the college. I know no matter where you go to college once you are kicked out you can’t work there.
Perhaps you should get your facts straight and ask this question again, with out the conflicting details and bs. butterflygurl085
