Look for the USDA seal. It's green and white. That's how you know it's truly organic. Tennis.

In the world of organic food, the label can say "organic" if it is over 70% organic ingredients in the total mix. That means that your product can be certified organic with just a few ingredients in the mix and the rest of the ingredients being "standard" or non-organic. Also you are assuming that the manufacturer used organic product in the making of that mix. Simply put there are probably 100 times more food manufacturers than inspectors or auditors to check that the people making the food are doing what they are supposed to be doing to get that "organic" label on there. They also have to tell the company in advance before they show up for any inspection. I know I work in food manufacturing. xpdshn

The way it looks, Organic foods lack the physical luster that the rest of the foods have. Some tool with a stamp will mark it USDA Approved, as for the actual USDA Administration they really have NO hands on contact with the foods so trusting the stamp is about as good an idea as trusting a pedophile to watch your children.

None the less, when you're out buying your Organic foods (Produce) just look for the duller produce and you'll be spot on, as far as packaged products..... Don't count on it being organic. It would have to go through an artificial preservation process. Brian

In the US, food is inspected by the USDA and they will stamp all organic foods with a green labels that says "USDA Organic" and that's how we know if something truly is organic. ▐▀▀✿▀▀▌ LIL BEAR ▐▄▄✿▄▄▌
