Is there a difference between organic non slip rug and regular slip rug? are they equally strong?

Costco carries a organic non slip rug and a regular one. Now the regular one is a few dollars MORE, so I started looking into the organic one, but I just thought maybe the organic one is not as strong to hold the carpet in place? Any experiences? or suggestions? thank you.
