lysistrata411 asked: The only hormone free milk is not as expensive. We’ve been buying organic milk, but I was wondering what the difference is and if it’s ok to buy just the hormone free milk? Why or why not?

yogaman007 asked: I am a vegetarian, meaning I eat plant based products and milk. I heard about how the milk industry mistreat cows and so started using organic dairy products. However I want to know if the cows that are certified to give organic milk, are they allow to die a natural death or are they butchred for meat well before their natural lifespan like most non-organic cows.
So do the companies that sell organic milk, buther cows or allow them to die naturally?

Kaijie asked: When shopping at Wholefoods, i noticed there two types of milk came from brand 365, one has a USDA label Organic and the other one does not, but both of them claimed that no rBGH is used in the feed.
So I am confused about the idea of organic? isn’t it just about the rBGH?
