They did a 50 year research on organic and said they found no difference with commercial produce when it comes to nutritional value and taste etc. It came on the news today,there goes my hopes.

I was mulling this over in my head and couldn’t decide which would be better! (Where I live in rural Canada there is some organic produce, but a very limited supply, and it usually looks half rotten. So there’s no variety and it’s really, really not fresh.)

Even if they aren’t an “organic restaurant”, I know some restaurants use organic ingredients, such as produce, because they taste better. Is there a way of finding out (such as a website) if a restaurant uses organic ingredients? I am especially interested in the Upper West Side. Thanks.

I originally posted this Q in the Atlanta section, but after half an hour haven’t gotten any response.

I’ve considered Trader Joe’s - but have heard several people say thier produce isn’t so great.
