Organic milk is UNPASTEURIZED milk. I think it should be ILLEGAL to sell it, but some states allow it. The reason why is because there are at least a dozen known highly contagious diseases, including bovine tuberculosis, which thrive in unpasteurized milk. I think people who drink unpasteurized milk are putting their life in their own hands when they drink it. I highly suggest you avoid it for this reason. Just because someone says the word "ORGANIC" does NOT make the food safe to consume. Use common sense, ok, and drink pasteurized milk that is KNOWN TO BE SAFE. Jim

Raw milk has not been pasteurized or homogenized. Organic milk comes from organically fed animals that do not receive hormone treatment; it can be, and usually is, both pasteurized and homogenized. Raw milk is almost exclusively organic and is not easily available in most places (usually you have to go out to a farm to buy it from a farmer unless you live in California where it is commercially available). Averyescape

organic milk just means that the cow was never given hormones or medicines, raw milk hasn't been processed after the cow has been milked. rob
